Mt. Shasta Nordic Center offers 23.5 km of trails for skate & classic cross country skiing for all ages and abilities. Services include classic and skate ski rentals, lessons, and a cozy base area with hot drinks, snacks, and picnic tables. You’ll also find a 2.5 km trail for snowshoeing as well as snowshoe rentals. Plus smiles. Lots of those.

For children under 18, the Trail Day Pass is free but they will still need a ticket reserved for them. They will also need to purchase rentals (not free) if needed.

SKI TICKETS & RENTALS

Day tickets are required for use of Nordic Center trails. There is ski equipment packages available for rent at the Nordic Center. Full packages include skis, boots, and poles, for both classic and skate techniques.

SNOWSHOE TICKETS & RENTALS

Mt. Shasta Nordic offers packed, dedicated snowshoe trails and snowshoe rental equipment. Day tickets are required. Snowshoeing is also permitted on the groomed ski trails, but they ask that you only walk on the outer edges of the trails to maintain the grooming quality for skiers.

Educator Package: Includes educational resources, interactive project ideas, trip organization, direct experiential opportunities to help better connect the experience with your students and complimentary chaperone ticket/rentals. Does not include student ticket or student rentals.

Student Package: Includes engaging pre and post educational visit activities, trip organization and student ticket/rental.
