STUNNING 360° VIEWS OF THE SIERRA & BEYOND
The Scenic Gondola ride up Mammoth Mountain is a treat for the whole family. There are breathtaking views all around as you ascend to 11,053 feet in elevation. At the top, snap a selfie at the summit sign, enjoy lunch with panoramic views at the Eleven53 Café, and discover the history and wonder of the Sierra at the interpretive center.
The Scenic Gondola Ride in Mammoth takes between 10 and 15 minutes each way, and you will want to spend some time at the top. It is suggested you reserve between one to three hours for your adventure, depending on how long you'd like to stay at the top.
ELEVEN53 INTERPRETIVE CENTER & CAFÉ
Featuring exhibits for all ages, a knowledgeable docent, café and panoramic views of the Sierra and beyond. This is the central hub of the Explore Mammothexperience. Enjoy free access with your Scenic Gondola Ride ticket.
Exhibits change periodically. Topics may include volcanic history, geology and geography, weather patterns, cultural heritage, and natural history.
Enjoy lunch with a view at Eleven53 Café. Offering house-made sandwiches, soup, chili, and snacks.
SUMMIT SIGN
Once you get to the top, step outside for a short walk to Mammoth Mountain's famous totem sign. Take a selfie and enjoy the beautiful views of the Minarets and beyond.
Educator Package: Includes educational resources, interactive project ideas, trip organization, direct experiential opportunities to help better connect the experience with your students and complimentary chaperone ticket. Does not include student ticket.
Student Package: Includes engaging pre and post educational field trip activities, trip organization and student ticket.
Mammoth Mountain Scenic Gondola Ride
Once you submit an order for tickets with your charter school, they will reach out to us with your request. You will be receiving your e-tickets and educational materials in an email within 1-2 days after we receive that request. Please make sure to check your email spam folder if you don't see your tickets in your inbox by that time. Submitting your order at least 7-14 days prior to your trip date is generally best unless you are trying to book a venue that requires more advanced planning.
