About the event
Home to the largest single cave chamber in California, the Spiral Tour is an ideal family tour! With a 20 to 30 foot thick ceiling, the open area inside the chamber is, in fact, tall enough to hold the Statue of Liberty (pedestal excluded)! The 45 minute tour will cover the cave’s history, ecology and geology. The natural temperature inside the cave is a constant 60 degrees so bring a sweater or jacket and comfortable shoes for the 144 stairs leaning down into the cave.
