For 3rd grade and up Get ready for a hands-on aviation adventure at the Hiller Aviation Museum, where students will explore the fascinating world of flight through interactive exhibits, historic aircraft, and engaging STEM experiences. Home to one of the country's most impressive collections of aviation history, Hiller brings the science, engineering, and innovation behind flight to life for learners of all ages.
During our visit, students will participate in the museum's Introduction to Aviation program, specially recommended by Hiller's Education Department for our group. This exciting program combines two of the museum's most popular experiences into one engaging lesson.
Students will:
Build, test, and take home their own balsa wood glider while learning the principles of flight.
Experience the thrill of piloting an aircraft in the museum's flight simulators.
Discover how airplanes fly through an engaging, hands-on lesson led by museum educators.
