About the event

The “Women Inspire” Field Trip offers students the opportunity to explore women who broke barriers in California history and to discover who inspires them. Students will discover the stories of more than 250 Golden State women from the 1700s to present, who inspire change and reflection on the ongoing struggle for equality.

Our field trip includes a 20-minute interactive classroom program followed by completion of an activity sheet on a self-guided tour of  “Women Inspire: California Women Changing Our World,” plus pre- and post-visit activities.

Aligned with 2nd-5th grade History-Social Science and Common Core ELA, but all grades are welcome.

Educator Package: Includes educational resources, interactive project ideas, direct experiential opportunities to help better connect the experience with your students and complimentary chaperone ticket.
