Tree Top Sac is an aerial adventure course, also known as a Ropes Course or Tree Top Adventure Course. It is a unique outdoor experience above the forest floor into the canopy of California Valley Oak trees. Traverse across rope bridges and balance over obstacles. Challenge your fears and test your agility among one of the State's greatest assets, preserved wooded parks and the natural landscape. A Kletterwald "climbing forest" made available to the greater Urban Sacramento area creates an opportunity to enhance the awareness of nature and the environment in a way that other typical urban recreation doesn’t easily provide.
How it works
Step 1: Gear Introduction
After check-in (please arrive 10-15 minutes early) the first step is to be outfitted with your full body harness and helmet. Our guides will assist with proper gear fitting.
Step 2: Ground School
Your adventure begins with ground school. Here we will walk you through a mini course that will be your introduction to your gear and our continuous belay system.
Step 3: “Clear to Climb”
Each parcour (route, course) starts with a ladder up into the trees. Attach to the safety cable and get climbing!
Step 4: Traverse the Canopy
You’ll navigate wobbly bridges, traverse tricky crossings, walk the tight wire, balance on a slack-line 20 feet in the air and challenge your body and mind on the obstacles in our 5 different parcours.
Step 5: “Zip Away!”
At the end of each parcour, you will ride our awesome zips lines back down to a soft landing on the forest floor. Repeat.
Requirements:
Kids ages 7-13
Required to be accompanied by participating adult/s
Ages 7-9, one adult per 2 kids
Ages 10-13, one adult per 5 kids
Minimum Height 51” and 50 lbs
30 min intro and 2 hours of climbing
Teens ages 14-17
Someone over 18 must be present and observing during their adventure from the ground.

Educator Package: Includes educational resources, interactive project ideas, trip organization, direct experiential opportunities to help better connect the experience with your students and complimentary chaperone ticket and/or IMAX experience. Does not include student ticket.
Student Package: Includes engaging pre and post educational visit activities, trip organization and student ticket.

Once you submit an order for tickets with your charter school, they will reach out to us with your request. You will be receiving your e-tickets and educational materials in an email within 1-2 days after we receive that request. Please make sure to check your email spam folder if you don't see your tickets in your inbox by that time. Submitting your order at least 7-14 days prior to your trip date is generally best unless you are trying to book a venue that requires more advanced planning.
