Expect year round excitement at Lemos Farm. Lemos Farm continuously transforms to fit each season. It has been around since 1942, but is far different today than when Frank Lemos first moved there from San Francisco. The story goes something like this... Back in the 40’s, a gentleman owed Lemos money, but not having any he gave him a cow instead. That cow had a calf, so Frank decided to buy a few more. This led to him buying some land for the cows, and that friends, is how Lemos Farm was born. Here are some of the activities you can expect to partake in at the farm
Train Rides
Choo Choo!
Come join us on an adventure through time and travel to the fun town of cowboy country. At Lemos Farm, families can hop on a train ride that takes you on a unique, quaint, and peaceful ride through our small western town. On the train, each member of the family is encouraged to let their imagination run free while they see what life was like back during the cowboy days.
Petting Zoo
Baa Baa! Oink!
Baby goats, pigs, sheep, and bunnies all for you to pet at the same time… what on earth could be more exciting!? A food cup is $2, but the fun had is priceless. The Petting Zoo is also included in the unlimited pass. Come see what’s new at our family petting zoo; you might even witness a baby goat being born the day your family comes to visit.
Gem Mining
Strike it Rich!
You never know what you might find! Come try one of the most engaging and fun attractions we offer on the farm. Bags of mining rough are available for purchase on site. Spring for either the Pay Dirt or larger Lucky Strike option, both containing loads of real gemstones you and your child can discover together. Sift through the sand and channel your inner prospector. After you're done, your child can take home the gem stones they find! *Not included with admission pass
Pony Rides

At Lemos Farm, children can experience the joy of riding a pony. They offer two different pony rides, hand led and circle ring, all year long.
Dig Zone Tractor
Caution Ahead!
Experience the power of a hydraulic digging machine. Amazingly, it’s only the second of its kind in existence. The Lemos Farm Dig Zone empowers the smallest of children to wield a mighty excavator into action with just a touch of a button. Kids love to take charge, command the claw, and use their imagination to an unlimited potential of fun. *This attraction is not included in the admission pass.
Hay Rides
Climb Aboard!
Take an adventure on the largest hay truck on the coast side! The Lemos Farm hayride journeys through the unseen parts of the ranch not accessible on foot. It’s a scenery rich endeavor that last 10 minutes. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss out on! The hayride runs year-round and is great for the whole family.
Educator Package: Includes educational resources, interactive project ideas, trip organization, direct experiential opportunities to help better connect the experience with your students and complimentary chaperone ticket. Does not include student ticket.
Student Package: Includes engaging pre and post educational visit activities, trip organization and student ticket.
Lemos Farm
Once you submit an order for tickets with your charter school, they will reach out to us with your request. You will be receiving your e-tickets and educational materials in an email within 1-2 days after we receive that request. Please make sure to check your email spam folder if you don't see your tickets in your inbox by that time. Submitting your order at least 7-14 days prior to your trip date is generally best unless you are trying to book a venue that requires more advanced planning.
