Fresno Discovery Center is a science center for the mind where visitors of all ages can discover, explore and create. Education involves active participation which is why Fresno Discovery Center offers a wide array of events and exhibitions that range from fun to educational, targeting both adult audiences and the entire family.
The Center exhibits highlight Fresno culture and have been designed to nurture visitors scientific imaginations, build their confidence, competence, and encourage them to test, tinker, create, and wonder! Their exhibit philosophy responds to a persons need to learn through concrete interactions — touching, exploring, manipulating , experimenting and hands-on learning

The Park is 5 1/2 acres of grassy meadow, tortoise habitat, cactus garden and includes several picnic tables, restrooms, and many green areas for families to enjoy
The Deutsch Cactus Garden is an extraordinary garden filled with over 250 different types of cactus and succulents. The garden has lived at The Fresno Discovery Center in Fresno, California since 1995, where it has been satisfying the needs of cactus aficionados, to curious children looking to explore the world of cactus and succulents ever since. Enjoy a walk down the trail to witness this marvelous world of exotic desert plants.
Educator Package: Includes educational resources, interactive project ideas, trip organization, direct experiential opportunities to help better connect the experience with your students and complimentary chaperone ticket. Does not include student ticket.
Student Package: Includes engaging pre and post educational visit activities, trip organization and student ticket.
Fresno Discovery Center
Once you submit an order for tickets with your charter school, they will reach out to us with your request. You will be receiving your e-tickets and educational materials in an email within 1-2 days after we receive that request. Please make sure to check your email spam folder if you don't see your tickets in your inbox by that time. Submitting your order at least 7-14 days prior to your trip date is generally best unless you are trying to book a venue that requires more advanced planning.
