Witness a groundbreaking story of passion, relentless ambition, and the creation of a new nation! Join us for a thrilling educational journey through the musical Hamilton. Students will experience history brought to life through a blend of hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and traditional Broadway tunes, all while learning about the challenges and triumphs of the early United States. This is not just a show—it's an exploration of the transformative forces that shaped America and the compelling story of one of its most influential Founding Fathers, Alexander Hamilton. Hamilton features book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. In addition to its 11 Tony Awards, it has won Grammy®, Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.

Important Details

  • AGE/GRADE REQUIREMENTS: While open to all grade levels, parents are encouraged to exercise discretion due to strong language and emotionally intense scenes. Hamilton addresses mature themes like death, gun violence, sex, adultery, and drinking and is recommended for ages 10 and up. 
  • ALLERGY ALERT: Please let us know right away if your student has a food allergy so we can make any necessary arrangements
  • CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: All field trip sales are final. Extensive planning and detailed preparation goes into each of our field trips and we are unable to accept cancellations or transfers. Please ensure you are able to attend the field trip prior to registering
  • CHAPERONE POLICY: A parent chaperone is required to be present with their student on our field trips regardless of student age or grade level. Upon registering you MUST INCLUDE all attending, including any additional parents/chaperones or siblings.
  • FOOD/DRINK RESTRICTIONS: Outside food and drinks are not allowed to be brought into the venue but can be purchased once inside.
  • PARKING AND MEETING INSTRUCTIONS: Event meetup details will be sent out a week prior to your trip. Nearby parking garages listed below.
  • 1056 13th St (between J & K Streets) Entrance on 13th Street
  • 1135 12th St (between K & L Streets): Hyatt Regency Entrances on L Street and on 12th Street
  • 900 13th St (between I & J Streets): Ace Parking Entrance on 13 Street
  • 801 14th St (between H & I Streets): Memorial Garage Entrance on 14th Street
  • SICK POLICY: Please do not attend a field trip if you or your student is sick or showing possible signs of illness.
  • RELEASE OF LIABILTY: When registering, make sure to read and understand the Release of Liabiliy Policy before submitting your order
