About the event
Ignite your students' curiosity in just an hour! This 60-minute lab, encourages students to ask questions, experiment, and find solutions. Experience how inquiry-based learning can boost their interest and engagement.
Grades: 6–8
Course Details:
Students will explore the building blocks of life by investigating plant cells and cell structures. They will extract and prepare their own samples for microscope viewing, and through observation, sketching, and recording their findings, they will gain a deeper understanding of cells. This experience will be further enriched by comparing their plant slides with prepared animal cell slides (human cheek cells).
After the lab, students will then get to explore the museum's exhibits at their own pace.
