About the event
For Grades 3 and Above Only: Younger siblings will need to sit this one out.
Embark on an exciting educational adventure as you explore Sacramento’s remarkable efforts to protect the city from catastrophic floods in the 1850s and 1860s. During this one-hour tour, students will discover fascinating evidence of how streets and historic buildings were raised, creating the hidden underground spaces and sidewalks that still exist today. Student Package: Includes interactive project ideas, fun and interesting facts, engaging pre and post field trip activities and student ticket.
Educator Package: Includes educational resources, interactive project ideas, direct experiential opportunities to help better connect the experience with your students and complimentary chaperone ticket. Does not include student ticket.
