About the event
Join us for a 3 mile guided educational hike through the park, where students will explore its natural and cultural wonders. We'll learn about unique marine mammals, shorebirds, land mammals, and the park's human history, including the native Ohlone and historic light keepers. Our hike will take us to see the seals during their molting season, providing an excellent opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of these incredible creatures and their environment. Please Note: to view Elephant Seals, please expect a 3 mile round-trip walk to the Elephant Seal viewing overlooks.
